While the launch of NVIDIA and AMD’s consumer GPUs have been a major topic recently, NVIDIA is also starting to release the successor to their Quadro RTX line – starting with the RTX A6000. In this article, we will look at how it performs in Photoshop compared to recent NVIDIA Quadro and AMD Radeon Pro GPUs.
After the launch of NVIDIA’s GeForce 30 series cards, AMD is firing back with the Radeon RX 6900 XT. But while Photoshop does have a number of effects that can utilize the GPU, there generally isn’t much of a performance difference between various cards. Will this hold true with the 6900 XT, or will AMD take the lead over NVIDIA?
With the launch of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB, NVIDIA is finally at the end of their 3 month rolling launch of the GeForce 30 series cards. But while Photoshop does have a number of effects that can utilize the GPU, there generally isn’t much of a performance difference between various cards. Will this hold true with the RTX 3060 Ti, or will we see a bit of a performance drop with this lower-end GPU?
AMD recently launched their new Radeon RX 6800 and 6800 XT GPUs, but while Photoshop does have a number of effects that can utilize the GPU, there generally isn’t much of a performance difference between various cards. Will this hold true with the 6800 (XT), or will AMD take a lead in Photoshop?
The RTX 3000 series cards are here, with NVIDIA boasting significant performance gains over the previous generation. While Photoshop does boast a number of effects that utilize the GPU, these effects tend to perform roughly the same independent of what GPU you use. Does this mean the new RTX 3070, 3080 and 3090 are not useful for Photoshop, or will they surprise us with higher performance?
